Yes, we know that the last two questions are a bit personal, but we need to know how tall you are as some berths on some yachts are only suitable for shorter people and sometimes it is hard to manage on a small yacht if you are very large. There can also be cultural issues where people in other cultures will react in unexpected ways

We like Crew/Interns to work with us getting the trip organized and the boat prepared for 2-6 weeks prior to setting off. This will be where the boat is located such as California, New England, New Zealand etc. Are you available for that time and can you afford it? OceansWatch is a young and small non-profit charity, registered in the USA and New Zealand. As such we currently have no funds to pay for volunteers travel, food and expenses. Presently all volunteers have to pay for their own travel, food and contribute towards fuel and expenses whilst on the boat. This will be between $150 and $200 per week, depending on the boat and location. Is this acceptable and affordable to you?
